Thoroughly enjoyed
Only a few days after doing the K100 we decided to hike up this mountain. Excellent views all around, would have loved to explore some of the other mountains in the area

Long Day
I really just remember the name, and my buddy said it was a long horrible day in the rain.

Mosquitos....
Long day but easy route. Great views but mosquitos were the worst I have encountered in the rockies. But they seem to be bad all over this year.

Had to share the view
Remembered the fantastic view from a few years ago, so I brought a friend this time! The 360 degree view can't be beat. I think they've added more equipment at the top than I remember the last time. The windmill power fans unfortunately create a lot of noise on the summit.
Great views from the top but my gosh is it a long slog! Just a very long walk through the trees, and then a very long walk up scree to the summit weather station. If you want a nice view on an very easy non-technical peak this is an option, but there are many quality easy scrambles that are far shorter and afford views just as grand in the area.

Very nice view
Solo ascent -- tremendous view. Still plenty of snow up top.

hazy
Nice hike. Lots of vertical. Probably good views but it was very smoky and I couldnt see much.
My wife road her horse up this trail to Bourgeau Lake. They grazed, read and napped while awaiting my return from the summit. This is a good one for a family summer adventure, due to the different stages you can set up base if you will. It is still a 5000’ ascent, so not everyone would be up for the full route. Cheers!
