Summitted multiple times in the mid-2000s with my dad. The view of Cardigan from our house in Canaan was outstanding and the hike was great!

Incredible Hike
Hiked Mount Cardigan on Black Friday 2015. One of the most beautiful and enjoyable fall hikes I've ever done!

Unexpected Hike
Loved this hike. Felt like I could "drop in' with a skateboard from the summit and ride the granite wave down 600 feet to the timer line... All of the Monadnock style mountains in eastern NH are special. Cardigan was a real treat.

So hot...
90+ degrees and pretty foggy, but some nice views. Also a nice quick hike in the awfully hot weather

Second mountain of the day
I still had time to burn after hiking Cannon Mountain earlier in the day so I bounced up this one from the west side. After reading the route description I'm thinking I want to try the east side next time. Summit views are spectacular for such a low impact hike.
What a wonderful hike on a trail that bears reminiscence to Huntington Ravine on Washington. Definitely not to be underestimated!

kid and dog friendly
I've done this 3times because it's only 40 minutes away. Nice little hike with good views to the Greens and Whites. The tower on the summit somewhat ruins the ambiance though. I prefer it in winter since there are less people.

One of the first hikes I did, dragged up by my parents. Quite an adventure for a little kid! Thanks Mom and Dad!

We climbed both peaks in soaking rain, but who cares? Lots of fun to be had even without the views. Will have to return on a sunny days for the spectacular photos!

Upper Holt/Mowglis/Manning
Did the Upper Holt trail as a solo hike on a Friday, then returned with my Dad on Sunday. A bit more ice on Friday which made the going tough, but it had mostly melted by Sunday. The last leg of Upper Holt is something special, indeed.
