"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

NE RidgeDay 9 of the 2010 Sierra Challenge. Armstrong Canyon is not a good place to climb out of with a large group - too much loose, unstable rock. Trip Report.

And back again...Longest day of the SC, what a slog. Won't go back to Armstrong Canyon without snow (and skis). Had wanted to do Colosseum but balked since I was friggin' pooped.

Great snow climb.Fighting a case of the lazies in camp, thought maybe about just scouting the area for later. Instead Scott and I headed up the SE slopes in the snow. Perfect for kick/plunge stepping. Awesome views.

East SlopeFrom Colosseum Col with Daryn, Steve, Tim, Lisa, Brian, Jim, and Louise! Made a bee-line from the col, avoiding the ridge, for an easy class 2 climb. Came in from Armstrong Col the previous day, then on to Colosseum Mtn and Sawmill pass that night. Nice little peak! See pix at http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/559250706KwcBqN
