Night Views of Colo Springs
Nice hike especially for someone not too active. It was a shallow grade all the way up and would provide some excellent views of 7 falls and Colorado Springs.

Great for Kids!
A great hike for younger kids. Our 4 and 5 year olds did the trip to the summit today without any problem! We didn't make it down to the far end, and catch the view of the city (the younger one was getting a bit too tired). But it was a wonderful hike, and a good introduction to our younger kids!

Moonlight Hike
The full moon was an awesome beacon tonight. I did the whole hike without a flashlight.
Amazing night time views of Colorado Springs. I could see the headlights of people driving up and down Gold Camp Road from the summit. Really cool night time hike.
Edit: From May 1st until October 31st, the trail is open as late as 11pm, so it is possible to hike this trail legally at night.

Mt. Cutler on Ice and SnowNice quick hike with great winter views. Needed microspikes for areas of the trail that were complete ice chutes.

a sunny morningRan up with Cimarron after doing Muscoco. Found that the park people have re-routed the trail to the summit: totally unnecessary and a waste of tax $!

Re: Moonlight HikeOf course, you realize, it's _illegal_ to hike in N. Cheyenne Cañon Park at night...??

Re: Moonlight HikeI must have put this in the wrong place. Until Oct. 31, N. Cheyenne Cañon is open until 11 pm every night.
