"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

West ridgeIt looks scary from Neptuak, but is actually fun and reasonably solid. The gap feels legitimately 5.5, but easier on the return. Trip report.

Supercouloir in 89Climbed the Couloir with Gene (don't have the last name), someone I met at the Athabasca Campground in the summer of 89. I tried the climb before, with another fellow the year prior to this trip, a guy from Colorado, don't remember the name anymore. The first trip ended before we climbed much of the innitial slope, temperature was just way too warm and things were falling off which made us reverse the course and get out of there. In 89, we had a wonderful time climbing the couloir. The exit was somewhat of a problem, some mixed climbing in a chimney. One of the best climbs I have done in the Canadian Rockies.
