Presidential Traverse
Second peak of the day as part of a South to North Presidential Traverse. Summit in the clouds so no real views. Not a very strenuous hike to this point. Under 2 hours from Crawford Notch.

Believe it or not, Mt. Eisenhower was my goal of the day. I wanted to get 3 NH mountains on one trip, so I made a loop consisting of Jackson, Pierce, and Eisenhower. It was a GREAT day of hiking in the Whites.

Only knew I was there by the cairn - everything else was blanketed in fog. Who would have thought the 40 mph winds we had here was light compared to what we headed into.

The last peak of the day
This was the last peak of the four we (my wife, dog and I) bagged after starting out at 302/AT crossing. We started at 1000 and topped this one out around 1630. We then dropped down edmands for a long walk down clinton and 302 back to our car at the AT parking lot.

One of the all-time great days up on the Presidential Range. Much different from last year's hike, when all we could see is fog. Hit this summit on the way from Pierce and then onto Washington.
