Brrrrr!
Climbed Evans B and Pennsylvania on a stormy, bitter cold winter day. No views. Makes for a good winter hike because it is rather short and gentle slopes make it generally avy safe. The power lines are a little ugly though.
Skinned the entire way to the summit from S Fork Mosquito Creek. Skied back down the E face to the saddle with Pennsylvania Mtn which I climbed while in the neighborhood. Managed to ski that peak too with a bit of creativity and some walking w/ skis.
Climbed the North Ridge via the western side of the Mosquito Pass Road (Leadville). Was able to ski most of the route off the summit, the flat ridge to Moquito Pass was a little wind blown and I had to carry the skis briefly. Some of the snow conditions in the upper basin were excellent.
