4th of July hike. Castle to Meadow, then Tower to the summit. Then Tower to Meadow to Castle, and Turkey Trot back to the trailhead. It was very hot.

Castle to Meadow to Tower
A nice consolation prize after my wife and I gave up the battle against I-70 traffic to reach Sniktau. We enjoyed the Summer White House and Walker Home ruins as well as good views of the divide, several blue bird sightings, and a photogenic rabbit.

From the west
Took a dog (Stimpy) up this pleasant little hike with me on a freakishly warm January day.
Easy stroll from the parking lot. The Open Space was much nicer than I had anticipated.

Nice little hike
A great fall hike with a little snow and a little sunshine. The mountain page is accurate: good way to kill a Saturday and enjoy nature. Keep away from the main parking areas and you have the place to yourself.

Parmalee Trail
Leisurely hiking up Parmalee Trail and back on Castle Trail. A nice place to go on a day off with plenty of daylight left when you get home! Took about 90 minutes this way without pushing it.

Oh the Memories
Oh the memories...If you're from Denver, you can't say that you got the full high school experience unless you came up to Mount Falcon at least once to make out with somebody. I'm pretty sure my initials are in a tree up there somewhere.

I started from the east side. I had hiked in Mt Falcon park before, but I had never been to the summit. This was the first day of daylight savings, and there were a lot of hikers and bikers in the park.
