Almost missed trailhead - no sign, look for MA/CT border post. Steep trail, nice views, signed in at CT highpoint (has marker, cairn, and cannister for log - very well organized!). On last steep descent down, tripped on root, fell 30 feet head over heels on rocks - broke wrist, 9 stitches in scalp, and very beat up back - those steep parts are no joke! Very memorable 7th state highpoint for me.

Cool day
Thought I had done this in 2008 but it was windy and rainy and we only really did Round Mountain. Hit both the CT state high point and summit (one going, one coming back) on this day. Sunny and nice.
