Route Climbed: Hawkes Trail Date Climbed: October 2, 2004.
Climbed with Flanders. Did this one right after Pisgah. It got dark on us right after we started down. On the hike down, we heard a noise off the left side of the trail and my headlamp reflected two sets of glowing eyes. Two small racoons in a tree checking us out.
