"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Route Climbed: Davis Path Date Climbed: July 2005Climbing via the Davis path makes a long hike even longer, but the lower summits to the south of Isolation have impressive views and the trail is not heavily trafficked. Its a great way to go. I came down the Isolation trail to Dry river. Doesn't it often happen that the views of the highest peaks are more beautiful than the views from the highest peaks?

Route Climbed: glen boulder to davis path Date Climbed: 25 august 2005On descent of Davis Path, Mt Isolation looks so small and wooded that I wasn't sure which bump it was, so I was very surprised to discover the fine views from the summit.
