Summitted on my birthday this year in beautiful (and windy) weather. Went up Jackson trail, hit the summit, then through the very muddy bog to Mizpah hut for a rest and water refill, then down Crawford Path. Long day, but worth the views, and loved the scrambles on both sides (esp on Jackson side). Love this area and will be back! 1/48

Jackson-Webster loop
I did this as a loop with Webster, stopping at Elephant Head and Bugle Cliffs on the way up. Beautiful views from the top, with a little bit of fun scrambling, and then on to Webster.

First trip
Wasn't planning on hitting this summit, but after a wrong turn leaving the Mizpah hut we hit the summit at sunset. Decided to spend the night at the base rather than risk picking our way out in the dark. Glad I was prepared.

Crisp clear day
Great views from the top. Pretty icy on the western aspects, good thing I had some good spikes. 50% of the NH ones done!

1st of three
Eighty two minutes to the top from the TH on Rt 302. It was a well signed trail. Afterwards I bounced over to Webster to look at Crawford Notch from above.
Started our traverse here. Good peak, elephant head is cool!

Part of a north-to-south presi traverse dayhike, Madison to Webster. Great conditions until just before the Mizpah hut, at which point there was some lightning and hail.

Ouch! But #8
Man, we went slowly up this one....but still a fun hike....the views made the scramble worth it. Took Webster-Jackson to Jackson trail. This got us 1/6 done with our goal. Windy at the top, and many friendly grey jays

blustery
Hiked up the Webster-Jackson Trail with my brother, Stephen, and my dog, Gerty. It was cold, windy, and snowy at the top, with zero visibility. The only other people we encountered were a couple of British guys.

We went with a group that was going to climb this, and Pierce. There was fresh snow, with a crust on it, and an unbroken trail so the going was very slow. We did not go to Pierce.

Webster-Jackson Trail from Crawford Notch
I had done this in August 2004 with some friends as part of a loop with Pierce. The weather was forecasted to be beautiful and it was. Just had to be in the mountains. After sitting at the summit for a while we (my wife, dogs, and friends) meandered over to the hut and headed down Crawford Path.
