Jackson (check)
Took the Webster Jackson trail to Jackson's windy and icy summit. Nothing great for views as the whole day was in and out of the clouds, but definitely a cool place.
Route Climbed: Jackson-Webster Trail Date Climbed: August 2004
Crosses lots of beautiful streams above the Flume adn Silver cascades. The Elephant Head and Bugle Cliff give great views of Crawford Notch. Good views of Mount Washington. Nice loop with Webster.
Climbed as spring was arriving. Lots of snow and lots of racing water. Pat, Scott and I had fun sharing our lunch with a couple of Gorbies. They would land on our shoulders and hands for pieces of spicy beef jerky. Scott’s crampon broke, so Mr. McGyver bungied it together and pushed on to the summit.
