After just hiked Twin Sisters and Mtn. earlier, I made the walk up to Battle Mountain which, was my goal. I taked on Lady Washington since I was up there and still felt good.
Took Jim's Grove down. Long but satisfying day.
With Emily and Tanya.
First time above treeline! Also hiked up Storm Peak and to the Keyhole.

After Meeker and Longs
Meeker via the loft, Longs via Clark's arrow, down the keyhole, across the boulderfield and up Lady Wash. About 7300 ft. vertical. Sweet loop in under 11 hours.

Hiked all three from the Longs Peak Trailhead. This was one of my best hiking days. The views of Longs Peak were awesome.

Lots of bouldering toward the top of the East ridge. This is quite the workout. Great views!

Martha
Martha was still in winter conditions and was mostly just deep, soft snow. Luckily Mike N broke trail but climbing still involved thigh deep wading through snow.

Via Martha
Climbed in winter conditions via Martha. Martha had deep, steep snow. The 2 ice cruxes were not hard but required some thinking. Descended via eastern slopes. There is a lot of snow up there. A fracture line could be seen on Flying Dutchman.

Great Views
Went to the park to attempt Longs, but there was still too much snow so I decided to head up Mt. Lady Washington. Great views from the summit!
Lady Washington is just a big pile of rubble, but you get great views of Meeker and Longs, two beautiful peaks.
It was really windy when we climbed - - gusts over 35 mph on the summit, I'd guess (it was difficult to stand up).

High winds and lack of sleep convinced me to save Longs for another day. Nice consolation prize.

East slopes
Hiked by myself on a Thursday on a day off from work. I had it to myself. The views of the diamond and Meeker are awesome- almost as good as my nap on the summit! I brought along snowshoes but didn't use them. I recommend starting early and leaving them at home if you are going now.
