best of Decalibron
my favorite out of the four in the Decalibron circuit. It also had the best views, so I'll leave my split times here. mt Lincoln actually felt like it was a tall, stand alone 14er because of its edge ridgeline, rocky cliffs, chutes, gusty winds, and a survey marker atop (unlike the others). it personally took me :20 mins coming from mt Cameron, 1hr 15mins mt Lincoln to mt Bross, trailhead to mt Democrat 1hr 45mins, mt Democrat to mt Cameron 1hr 30mins, mt Bross to Trailhead 1hr 5mins. Careful of the rough road to Kite Lake trailhead. also can save fee by parking 2/10mi short of trailhead parking.

'T' Route (Kite Lake)
Lincoln is not the prettiest or most inspiring peak (e.g., strip mine), but the views that day as a fast moving winter-like storm was approaching were fantastic. Standing on Cameron, it was hard to resist the child-like urge to go run up Lincoln. Did not attempt to round out the trek by going over to Bross.
A little disappointed I was unable to complete the decalibron. I guess this day they decided to enfore the Bross closure. From Lincoln we could see ATVs intercepting people who were trying to summit. Bummer.

The "CaLiBron"
Summit #2 for the day, a real quick jaunt from Cameron. Set a new personal high elevation, besting Grays by a few feet. Gorgeous but windy day!

Nice summit!
Went up the mining road to Bross first and then over to Lincoln. Was my favorite summit fo the day. Nice views and some nice exposure. Very cold and windy though.
Having climbed Democrat last October, decided to get the other three. Cloudy, windy day, with very few chances to see the views from the summits - all in the clouds. Interesting hike all the same - circuit from Kite Lake. Nice summit on Lincoln.
Hiked the standard 14er loop from Kite lake (in 1995?). Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
