Route Climbed: Decalibron Date Climbed: July 17, 2000
Summit was thick with fog so finding the summit from the plateau near Cameron was kind of fun. I remember mistaking a seated person for a cairn! Memorable!
Route Climbed: Lincoln Amphitheatre Date Climbed: August 7, 2002
We followed Roach's directions for this challenging route up Lincoln, and they worked well. The crux was crossing the Middle Fork of the South Platte, actually. Climbing up near the falls areas (where people ice climb in the winter) was a hoot -- some of the falls are quite lovely, including one that spills over this cube of a rock. Some bush belays are handy, and it would suck to climb this route when it's muddy. The Amphitheatre is somewhat laborious to cross due to a lot of big boulders. Some abnormally large spiders with webs stretching b/w the boulders in the low areas made our crossing even more interesting. A miserable scree slope led us to Lincoln's summit area. We descended our ascent route, just beating out an incoming storm. It started to rain while we packed up our gear at the TH. This route takes longer than its stats would indicate: 4.0 miles, 3370', but it took us 3.5 hours to summit. A trip report is available here
Route Climbed: DeCaLiBron Date Climbed: June 5, 2002
I soloed the DeCaLiBron. I was very pleased that the road had been grated because otherwise, my Prizm wouldn't have made it to Kite Lake. A few inches of snow fell the night before, but it melted very quickly. I though Democrat was the best of the trio.
Route Climbed: Standard 4-banger combo Date Climbed: 23 August, 2003
By far the coolest of the 4 summits in the "circle" - pretty small and airy with a suprisingly gnarly little face off to the south. Definately more of a "top of the world" feeling than on top of the parking lot sized summit of Bross. Cool peak.

technically minded climbers.
