Climbed via the old usual route to grab all three peaks. Wonderful day, cold beer at the end; with my wife, Mrs. Rat.

first 14ner snowboard descent
This was my first 14ner snowboard descent. The last 300 feet were brutal because I could see the summit within reach! Hard windcrust on top but 1000 feet down it softened right up.

Lincoln - Cameron - Democrat - Bross
Hiked all four via Lincoln Amphitheater from Montgomery Reservoir Trailhead with my friend Jason. Summited Lincoln twice this day. A torrential rainstorm hit as soon as we got back to our cars, just in the nick of time.

Four in one day
Mt. Lincoln's approach was like going to Mars. Very weird. I liked the summit very much. My best friend and I did our usual type trip from Oklahoma. Drive all night, sleep a couple of hours, go for the summit. We had never done more than one 14er on any trip but we decided to give this a whirl. Started with Democrat and did the loop. Finishing with a fun glissade down Bross. All of these four peaks were done before these were closed recently.

First time
This was the first of many climbs of the Lincoln, Democrat and Bross group. Most of the climbs were from Kite Lake and most were climbs of 2 or 3 of the group. A couple of the climbs were from the east. This climb was combined with Bross from Kite Lake.

4 peak day
Started at Kite Lake, hiked up to Democrat, traversed over the Cameron, then Lincoln and finally Bross before coming down the western side of Bross back to Kite Lake. If you miss the trail coming down Bross it is a scree field that isn't much fun to come down. Even my Golden Retriever didn't care for that. Otherwise it was a great day.
