From Deer Creek TH
Fun routefinding after the road disappeared. Wasted some effort bushwhacking through the marsh, came across a TON of fresh bear scat. Saw 2 moose 50 yds from the TH.
Last mile to the summit is a slog, mix of big boulders and ankle breakers.

Looped Spearhead, Kataka, Logan and PT 10780 from the Threemile trail. Incredibly dry for this time of year, didn't even need gaitors as any snow I came across was usually only boot sole deep, and far between. Chilly and windy, so at least something felt "November Like" about this hike!

From Deer Creek
This route is a cool blend of old roads, social trails, bushwhacking and tundra/boulder stomping. The tundra was showy in bright autumn colors. The expansiveness of the views from this summit was pleasantly surprising! Angel and Roofus frolicked like happy puppies while Derek earned his FINAL Mount Evans Wilderness ranked peak! Hurrah! Lovely day in the hills.

N. Slope
Summated with Bryan, Lee and Dave. The summit was extremely cold and windy. There was lots of deep snow beginning at approx 10,500'. The snow covered rocks on the N. slope made for slow travel. A worthy day on what would otherwise be considered just a walk up. We left a nice trench for anyone else who wants to go for it before the next snow hits. The views of the east ridge of Bierstadt were gorgeous!

Autumn on the Tundra
Climbed this peak from Three-Mile Creek trailhead. Beautiful reds and oranges graced the tundra grasses as well as plentiful alpine gentians.
