"This is a black diamond!"
Ski this? LOLNOPE. It was fun to hike up the ski runs and see where I will inevitably die. I'm probably being dramatic.

Indian Summer
This was a great Sunday hike. Not too demanding and yet the views were still amazing. I can't wait for Brighton to open for the season!

First on ridge run from Clayton to Sunset Peak. Great loop, saw multiple moose of all types. Trip report
Went with Jeff and his 2-year-old daughter. A great time under the friendly clouds. He kiddo walked back the last 0.8 miles and ended up covered in dirt.

From the winter closure of Guardsman Pass down by Brighton. Closure added 2.5 mi one-way or thereabouts. Perfect snow conditions. No snowshoes, no crampons, just solid ice axe work from shortly above the pass to the small point, then the summit. Snow conditions like this, I am told, are rare here in July.
hiked this one on an outing with my brother, Harold. He was exercising a sprained ankle from 5 days earlier. I did Peak 10,026 on the other side of Guardsman Pass first while he started up Peak 10,420. I caught up with him at the top of 10,420 then bagged this one while he made his way back to Guardsman Pass. I met up with him back at the pass a half hour later. Beautiful summer day in the Wasatch Mountains.
