Unexpected delight
Hiked Markham with Lowe, but this summit was so much more thrilling. The views into upper Eaton Canyon blew me away... did not expect the summit to be so precipitous!

Probably second best views
Of the four peaks in area, this has the second best views behind Mt. Lowe.

Fun trail to the top!
This is a fun peak and the trail has just the right amount of obstacles to make it challenging.

Climbed from Eaton Saddle on the morning of July 5, 2015. The use trail from the saddle between Lowe and Markham was steep in places but nothing that difficult. I used my hands maybe 3-5 times. Gorgeous day with fog covering the valleys below but crystal clear skies in the front range with great views and warm but not too hot.

Easygoing hike with Mt. Lowe
We hiked up the W ridge after climbing Mt. Lowe. Beautiful cloudy views on top, then scrambled straight down the N slope to the tank at the trail junction.

Four Peaks
The highlight of the day. After a walk up Mount Disappointment, the scramble up Mount Markham was fun. Rustled a deer out of the brush on top, he headed down into Bear Canyon. Also noticed the emergency ham radio outfit with a crude antenna. After Markham I topped Mount Lowe then San Gabriel Peak creating a nice 12 mile day.

From Eaton Saddle
Cleaning up the Mt. Wilson HPS area, bagged Markham after previously checking off Deception. Easy hike from Eaton Saddle to the saddle with Mt. Lowe, then straight up the ridge to summit. Nice views.
