"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

geoinmtGood description for finding the trailhead by rebelgrizz. I would just add that there was no road number sign for forest road 7006, but if you follow rg's mileage (turn right off hwy 93 and go up Road 7008 for 1.2 miles) you will find 7006. Then drive to the end where your way is blocked by a concrete barrier. The trailhead is about 50 yds beyond the barrier. The trail is a very easy grade and this is overall a nice hike, even though you can drive to the top.
