Brighton Ridge Run
Did a variation of the Brighton Ridge Run with David, summiting 6 peaks (Tuscarora, Millicent, Wolverine, Patsy Marley, Honecomb Cliffs, and Evergreen) with good views of Lake Mary, Lake Martha, Lake Catherine, Twin Lakes Reservoir, and Silver Lake along the way. We were lucky to do this on a day when the smoke from fires wasn't quite so bad. See "Peakbagger's Delight" trip report for details.

Brighton Ridge Run
Brandon R. and I decided to try to bag a few peaks at Brighton. We started in the parking lot and went past Mary, Martha, and Catherine Lakes. We then went up Catherine Pass. From there, we hiked to the summit of Tuscarora, then Millicent, Wolverine, Patsy Marley, Honeycomb Cliffs, and Evergreen. On the way down we went by Twin Lakes and Silver Lake. It was a fun a route and a great day in the mountains.

Nice Traverse/Loop Hike
Hiked with RBD up from the Millicent Quad lift to the summit of Millicent, then over to Wolverine, to Tuscarora, down to Catherine Pass and back to Brighton Center via Catherine and Mary Lake. Nice half day loop hike! Perfect weather and didn't see any other hikers until we summited Wolverine.

Clouds and Sunset
Climbed it from Brighton. Started late in the day but made quick progress. I was planning on an hour and a half but I just had to stay at the top for the sunset. Especially because the mountain was covered in clouds all around. Fantastic hike!
Summited Millicent as part of a bigger loop at Brighton. I started at the base of the Millicent quad, hiked up to Twin Lakes, then summited Millicent. From there I went over to Wolverine, Tuscarora, down to Catherine's Pass and up Sunset. For the hike out I descended straight down Sunset to Lake Catherine and then out the standard Brighton Lakes hike.
Ascended via Martha & Mary and descended down the granite pile. Didn't fall or twist an ankle, so I was definitely successful in that regard!

Mount Millicent
Mini Brighton Ridge Run. From Twin Lakes Reservoir to Mount Millicent, then to Mount Wolverine, Patsy Marley, and on to Evergreen Peak. Interesting scramble/ bushwhack off of Evergreen towards Silver Lake. Kind of sketchy.
Came from Martha and Mary ridge. Hit some good third class, enjoyed views with birds on top. Then went back via the Milly cat track. Ran that cat track like a champ with a lamp. I'm always perplexed by the piles of granite. I think I need to do Brighton ridge run. Is it ski season yet?

So Hot Right Now
This was a fun after work jaunt. It was also really hot outside and the bugs were out in the shade. The boulder hopping was fun. We did a loop, hitting the south ridge and then dropping down the north ridge. A dead tree yelled at me so I picked it up and told it that I was in charge.
Thanks Milly!

Fun scramble and boulder hopping up near the summit. Sometimes I forget how pretty Brighton is! Someone needs to slap my wrists with a ruler or something.

Fun hike and boulder hop.
We rode up on the motorcycle to the parking lot at Brighton and hiked this one from the road leading to Twin Lakes. This was fun, with lots of boulders near the top. Some of them were loose like a teeter totter. The views of the other peaks around Brighton were really cool.

Winter Summit
Started snowshoeing from the parking lot, passed the lift exit, and up the North/East ridge. It didn't take too long, but was a fun snowboard down for free!
