Route Climbed: Carriage Rd(?), Beaver Brk Date Climbed: May '01, April '05
2001 climb had been cloudy - didn't get to see much. Made up for it yesterday with a spectacular spring day, almost total solitude on a Friday afternoon.
Easy 4000 footer with great views. The Carriage Trail has very easy grades; I can't wait to Ski it this winter! Nice little meadow on approach to the summit.

Hot, muggy, foggy, and cloudy. I assume that those who call this one of the best views in the Whites are telling the truth. I could see about 200 feet.
Route Climbed: Beaver Brook Date Climbed: October 1994
Hiked the Mouse Hillock several times, including winter. Fun, short, easy hike, pretty unimpressive summit area compared to the ridge "accross the street". But it has great views.

First real alpine terrain on the AT northbound. Talk about excitement over things to come!
Route Climbed: Various trails Date Climbed: 5/7/95 First Time
this was one of my first 4000' I bagged. I have sense been up it several times. I especially enjoy this summit in the winter.... shhhh ...... Not as crowded as the others!
Route Climbed: Gorge Brook/Carriage Road/Snapper Trail Date Climbed: 5/26/01
Pretty easy hike. Gorge Brook Trail had some awesome views. The views were definitely beautiful on the top as well. Nice hike to get started on peakbagging.
Route Climbed: Beaver Brook Trail Date Climbed: August 31, 1997
This was my second trip to the Whites. I hiked up with Rob, Robyn, and Diana. Diana insisted we carry up a jar of pickles for her that initially got some strange stares but were good for our pita lunch once we got to the top. The weather was great, the summit was crowded, and we saw a few gliders flying around overhead. A bit windy on top so windbreakers were useful.
