Mount Oxford
Did Missouri on Tuesday and Belford and Oxford on Thursday. Tuesday had afternoon storms, otherwise these three are worth doing together, you will save 2000' and an hour of hiking if you do it this way. Goes without saying you have to be fit to do all three in one go. Some folks camp at an old log cabin, well before the trail split, but that only saves a fast hiker 45 minutes. It takes more time than that to set up camp not too mention the extra weight. They don't want you camping around the trail split, sign posted as of 2024. Missouri was 5.5 hrs RT for me, 2.5 less than what was posted in the book. Belford and Oxford were 6.5 hrs for me, 3.5 hrs less than what was posted in the guide. Belford's route is NW facing (no morning sun) and the wind was quite impressive. Maybe plan Belford and Oxford for a summer outing vs fall. Missouri gets a lot of sun. Not much wildlife either day, just your typical pika's and marmots.
Like most people, I went to Belford first before hitting this one. Thought about doing Missouri too, instead I went home and got stuck in traffic on I-70. Should have known better and to take the southern route back

Triple Crown Day: Oxford, Belford, Missouri
Beautiful Summer day. Climbed a few steep pitches off of the beaten path for fun. Climbed with Brent Wessel.

Second summit of the day
From the summit of Belford, we headed over to Oxford via the connecting ridge. We reached the summit just as the last rays of sun were beaming over the western horizon. It was absolutely stunning. Instead of going up and over Oxford and back down the steep switchbacks, we took the Missouri Gulch trail down in front of Missouri. We had to cross a couple snowfields, and crossed the stream 3 times. Most crossings have rocks that you can step on to navigate across the water, but Ember did get her feet wet as one of the rocks rolled. Niko made both peaks with ease. Both class 1 climbs.

Belford Oxford Combo
Hopped on over to Oxford after tagging Belford with Ben and Andrea. Pretty windy on top, so we didn't stay for long for going down towards Missouri. Decided not to do Missouri and finished a good long, fun day.

With Belford, No Missouri
Summer solstice hike with my wife and my friend Jesse Sumrak. Our initial goal was to tag Belford, Oxford, and Missouri but I was feeling pretty tired when we arrived at the junction to Missouri. Started at 3:15 am. Summited Belford at 6:15 and Oxford at 7:45. Super cold wind with a beautiful sunrise. Coming back from Oxford back up to Belford was a little miserable. 14er #15
#1 9-6-15 Mit Yz. The bitterly cold strong wind which hammered us unceasingly on our ascent to Belford did us no favors en route to Oxford. But summit winds were a bit gentler. About one hour to here from Belford. Views were wonderful.
