Parked at the bottom of the road in a small shoulder off the pavement. Some packed out vehicle tracks on the road below the hairpin then just boot tracks from there.

Brrrrr.....
The wife, pup, and I from Columbine Campground. For some reason I stupidly decided to leave the jacket and pack in the car...it was nice out...and this peak wouldn't take long. Let's just say I couldn't get back to the car fast enough after a snow squall moved through...

From Hamlin Gulch Road
We drove as far up Hamlin Gulch Road as the Jeep preferred, then things got sketchy and we parked just below the big hairpin turn. (The road above gets narrow and down-sloping and is just not a pleasant place to be on 4 wheels in the snow!) Nice walk up to this summit, surprised to find a trail - Kiefer and I anticipated a bushwhack and found instead a well-traveled locals' peak.
