Viable Route?

Hi! Great photo. Is it possible to walk from Smiths Fork Peak Summit along the ridge in this photo to Mount Powell summit? Thanks!

Re: Viable Route?

Yes I think that would work and would be very straightforward to get to Powell's southernmost summit, but haven't personally done it. Mount Powell has three summits. The tallest and northernmost one (13159') is the bump on the left. The middle is 13151', and the southernmost one (13137') is the dominate one in this picture. So, if coming from "Smiths Fork Peak", you'll hit 13137 first and then have to go to the other two to hit the high point. I've done this traverse twice, and there is a bit of route finding involved, but with looking, a not too hard route can be found.
