Hitched a ride both up and down the jeep road, which saved our group from a long and boring hike on this road. Started near the radio tower around 6:45 and summitted around 9:45. Spent thirty minutes on top and returned to the road (and jeep ride) by 12:45. Overall, Princeton was a boring walk-up with minimal views on yucky talus...not the prettiest mountain in the Sawatch range, but I'm glad to have done it and ticked it off the list. Princeton was my 27th 14er, halfway done!

Radio Towers
I hiked Princeton with a meetup.com group. This was my 2nd time on Princeton. The weather was great, despite some clouds encroaching as we reached the summit. We spent nearly an hour on top, then headed down to the saddle and on to Tigger Peak.

Solitude on Standard Route
Hiked with Max and Brangwen (my hounds) from the CT crossing on a Monday. Saw one jeep full of people on a tour, and that was it for the day. Very peaceful.

Standard Route
Climbed Princeton via standard route from ~9500 ft (Colorado Trail crossing). Nice views of Antero and Yale.
(07/05/2011): Climbed from towers with Michael and Eli. Returned over Tigger. Beautiful weather, nice views.

Lots of Talus
The date is a guess, but it was sometime before graduation. I can't remember the route we climbed, but there was a lot of talus and jumping from boulder to boulder. Fun climb, though.

Princeton Standard
It's a long trek from the TH up to the summit but worth the views!

Next time...
This was the climb that brought me back from a 3-year hiking hiatus. Unfortunately, I wasn't in very good shape then and we stupidly decided to hike from the Young Life Camp instead of driving up the road to the actual trailhead. Next time, however, I will get to the summit.

Summer & Winter x2
8/21/05 - Hiked from around 11,000 ft on the Mt. Princeton Road. Went up the standard route (never-ending talus) and over "Tigger" on the way down.
3/15/09 - Winter summit from 9,000 ft (start of Mt. Princeton Road). Went over "Tigger" on the way up and then down the standard route.
12/31/2015 - Variation of the standard route up and over Tigger both ways. Very cold but pretty New Years Eve Day.

Looks better from Buena VistaI don't think I'll be coming back to this one anytime soon. One of the more boring slogs I can think of.

loved the hot springs after the climbI climbed this as one of my early 14ers with my wife (at the time), and we enjoyed soaking in the Princeton Hot Springs after we descended.

Princeton + TiggerBig pile of gray boulders and the dog did not like it. We decided to wrap up the day and did the side trip to Tigger from the summit.
