A great walk! The trail is in perfect shape to boot. Decided to walk up this the day before North Twin Sister and was not let down.

Always Fun
Multiple hikes up this one, even a couple of overnights. Fun in early season while there is still some snow.

One of the Mountain Loop Classics!
This was one of the classic peaks of the mountain loop highway. I liked it so much I went up this peak two times.

Woke up at Smoke Farm Festival after a night of swimming in the stillaguamish, performing, and dancing, drove off and claimed it.

Stujack Pass and Scramble
Probably the easiest and most pleasant 5000+ ft hike I've done. Cloudy weather and temperatures in the 60s made for great hiking weather (wasn't too fond of the sun after getting burnt the weekend before). Absolutely loved the knife-edge ridge and scrambling, and still some great views on top despite the clouds. 4 hours up, 3 hours down. No more snow on the trail at this point whatsoever.

Wildflowers Aplenty
Beautiful Views of Glacier. Had to fuel up at Stujack pass with a nice hearty bottle of "muscle milk". I love how you get no views whatsoever of Glacier until you are actually at the summit. Makes the hike even that much more rewarding.
Started at 4am and made good time going up. Was able to cross all the steep snow fields before they warmed up. Quick look from the summit and down before the snow became soft. Snow was firm, very steep and there was a lot still left for July. Next time I will do this one later in the year. Great scramble and of course views!!!

Standard route
Made pancakes for the summit push. Been up numerous times before but this was the first time summitting. Scary scramble move going from the knife edge ridge to the summit block. Good weather though. Great day to be in WA cascades.

Going Back
Some snow in the basin below Stujack but made it fine with no gear. We got to Stujack for early lunch. Went a couple hundred feet further and hit a steep snow field, of course non of us brought crampons or ice axes... boo, the summit is on the list for 2010.

Snow Shoe Trip
Needed to stretch the legs early in the season and the deep snow required snow shoes all the way. Avalanche recently off the pass. Climbed directly up the face and the turnaround time did not allow a complete climb. Will be back...

Peaceful day on the Summit
I started alone at first light and there were already a couple of people on the trail; I passed them up quickly and made the summit with an hour of peace and quite to take a nap in the sun. Hardly and snow to cross, what there was was level and there was a trail. Great climb, I loved it all the way!
Definitely one of the more exciting Mountain Loop Highway hikes. Josh Lewis and I camped below Stujack Pass last night and went up to the summit today. For those who liked Del Campo and Three Fingers, here's another good one.
Awesome hike/scramble. Make sure to keep on track up above Stujack if you're not comfortable with a little exposre, and if it seems like more than Class 2, you're off the route. Amazing views of Sloan, Glacier, and the rest of the area, will definately return for more!
