Warm Day
Skinned up from Butler Fork on what turned out to be a very warm day. Snow was wet and heavy by the time I hit the summit a little after noon making for a cautious ski down.
Hit this after Raymond. Honestly I thought this was easier than the Knob, but that's probably because the 3rd class bit was fun. It would probably be even better in winter, so hopefully it starts snowing soon.
Too hot for late September, but I had a great time prancing around underneath the senescing aspen, peeping some bull moose, and scrambling across this knife edge ridge. Super fun mountain!
I felt like I was in the middle of a John Denver song on this hike up from Butler's Fork. The view was stunning, the scramble an absolute blast, and the company was wonderful. I have to admit that this is the better peak between Gobbler's Knob and Raymond. I would do the knob right after. The leaves were stunning, and the smoke that was creeping through the layers of mountains really added a beautiful element to the vistas.

Great Peak
My wife and I ran up without high expectations but I ended up really enjoying the scramble and the views of the Cottonwood Ridge from the top are phenomenal.

From Butlers
Snowshoed up from BCC via Butlers fork, took about 3.5 hours up, and 2 or so down. Nice views. Two were on the peak when we arrived and two others arrived after us. Turned out I knew 3 of the 4!!! Small world.

A Nice Solo
A wonderful autumn day in the mountains. A late start but great lighting just before sunset. There was a good load of mud once I went off-trail and the scrambling became a little sketchy with the loose rock.

Excellent Trail Run Approach w/ Quick Scramble
Trail run ascent via Bowman's Fork. Made Gobbler's Knob first and half-piped up to Mount Raymond.
Always nice to get the hands dirty, so to speak, after a lot of footwork on the trail.

Raymond
I really enjoyed this hike. There were a lot of wildflowers. The view from the summit is impressive in all directions. You can see SLC, as well as many of the other Wasatch peaks. There is a little scrambling to reach the top, but nothing too difficult.

Butler Fork
Hiked Circle All Peak, Mount Raymond, and Gobblers Knob from Butler Fork with David. The aspen groves on the way up were some of the nicest I've seen, and the views at each summit were great as well (especially looking south towards Cottonwood Ridge). Mount Raymond was probably the coolest of the three (a couple easy short scrambling moves needed near the top). See "Everybody Loves Raymond" trip report for details.

Late Fall
Went solo with a bit of snow and had a good fall workout. Not sure why this one is so tremendously popular, though it is a fine peak. The silhouette of Raymond looks like a sawblade from Mount Aire, so perhaps people just look up at this one and like the shape.

Awesome winter summit
Snowshoed in from Butlers in BC. Clear air and blue skys above the inversion. There are quite a few back country ski tracks but hiking the ridge to the summit is awesome.
