Respect
Solo ascent. Fantastic views. The west slope ascent scramble engenders respect for this rugged peak. There are multiple scramble routes up gullies on the west face. Because traversing the summit ridge involves some exposed moves in places, it’s best to get fairly far north before making final ascent directly to the summit if possible (it is difficult to judge exactly where the summit is from below).

Rockwell
First time summiting in GNP alongside a friend; up until then everything I did in GNP was solo. Great day and an amazing experience for us both :) Ice axe and crampons were needed for short section.
Climbed with GMS. Rockwell's a wonderful mountain, with distinctive summit views. A very nice climb, but definitely DO NOT take the possibility suggested by Gordon Edwards in "Climber's Guide," of descending to Upper Two Medicine Lake, then following a game trail the length of the lake until joining the NPS trail out. That may have been a good "shortcut" when written 20 or 30 years ago, but it's not nowit added five quite unpleasant hours to our descent, and the boat met us at Two Medicine Lake (11 PM!), or it would have been six unpleasant hours! Return the way you came! But all that aside...A TERRIFIC MOUNTAIN! (One I'd definitely do again.)
