This page contains a lot of great information and is well organized - overall it is a great page. The pictures need to be thinned out though. Shasta is a popular peak and I'm sure that thinning out the pictures would take a lot of work, but it takes too long for a visitor to look through the pictures because there are too many of them.
I really appreciate that! I noticed you were the first person besides Josh and Ryle to attach an image to this page. Please let me know if there is more I can do to improve the page!
Nice rework of the page, Bubba! I especially like the opening quote. And the image with the two lenticular clouds is spectacular--would vote it a 10 if it were hosted on SP. Thanks for a great job! --mark d.
Thanks for both your comments Mark. Not to be corny, but it is a labor of love. I really appreciate the feedback too. By the way, I may be heading out to Oklahoma soon!
Definately...I am actually working out a deal with Falcon Guides to do a hiking guide on the whole state, so I may be spending quite a bit of time out there, all over. I am still looking for some hikes in other parts of the state to flesh the whole thing out.
I just noticed the overhaul, its nice to see some of the old pages get updated with expanded information and relevant pictures. I've seen too many pages get neglected because the owners already have the points and really have no incentive to improve them.

Untitled CommentAwesome page, Sam! The only comment I might have for improvement would be an overview table outlining some of the various routes/mileage/difficulty.

Untitled CommentSUPERB! 5 Stars all around! Sam, I really like your organization of the page. The route overview tables and GIS image links are a great idea!
BTW, would you be interested in me making a 3D Interactive GIS map of the peak?

I like what you've done with it Bubba !Just wanted to note that there are route pages for the Whitney Glacier and Hotlum-Wintun Ridge which you can link to in the trailhead tables.
