From Iowa Gulch, with Sherman
Tacked Sheridan on after coming down from Sherman. High winds limited my time up there but the views were great. There was now snow on the route up from Iowa Gulch.

With Sherman
Started around 8AM at Fourmile Creek. No problems getting to upper trailhead. Lots of people, more than one hundred easily. A little over an hour to Sherman summit. Climbed Mt Sheridan afterwards via shared saddle. Some snow slopes to make from rapid decent.

ski day
Skinned up Sheridan, rode a nice slope just north of a big cornice to the saddle, then down to the mine en route to Sherman. Skinned up Sherman, summited, then skied off the summit to the saddle directly East. Found a narrow, steep (but nice snow) gully and skied that to almost my car. Great day!!!! Met some guy named CJ.

Why not?
Had the time, the inclination and the wherewithal so tagged this one following Sherman and the Gemini 13ers. By this time the skies had cleared and for that I was most grateful.

Did Sheridan to Peerless to Horseshoe with Heather and Buster.
East Slopes with McCannster and Davebobk47, most of the gathering group headed up Sherman, as we had all been up it before we thought this would make a nice alternative.

Mosquito Delight
I hiked 7 13ers and one fourteener. A great all day trip. Started at Leavick mining site. Hihed Horseshoe Mountain, Finnback Knob, Horseshoe Mountain again, Peerless Mountain, Mt. Sheridan, Mt. Sherman, Gemini Peak, Dyer Mountain and White Ridge. Great day.
Parked at gate with a 10:20 am start. Sunny day, bit windy (when isn't it?). Breaks to explore ruins with a Sherman summit before noon. Visited by a mountain goat during our nice break, and then summited Sheridan by 1:40. Explored more mine ruins, back to car by 4 pm.
