Mount Siyeh above Cracker Lake

Mount Siyeh above Cracker Lake

The sheer north face of Mount Siyeh towers about 4,100 feet over picturesque Cracker Lake. The snowfield clinging to base of Siyeh used to be called Siyeh Glacier, but over recent years has shrunk to the point of being declassified. There appears to be enough remnant glacial flour in the snow and ice to still give Cracker Lake its stunning turquoise appearance. August 4, 2008

Not that the difference...

...is all that important, but the Siyeh summit is slightly more than 4,100 feet over Cracker Lake.

And...nice shot!
