Seldom do I encourage people to quit their day jobs...especially when I don't know what your day job entails...but you could definitely make a living off your pages! : )
Drat! I've been sitting on slides of this one, but hadn't had the time. You did a better job than I would have, anyway, and now i can just toss in a few photos and not be responsible for the hard stuff. Thanks.
I don't know who "the two Bobs" are, but my name is Bob and this peak is very high in my priority scheme because this is now my top priority list. Regardless, 3 of us are heading up Depot Creek this Friday with only Spickard on our itinerary, so thanks for the great information!
Well, you are prophetic indeed since I had only begun working on the Ultras the year before that, and you had to understand my thought processes enough to figure out that my subsequent attention would be paid to the next lower major prominence threshold. I doubt I'll ever climb either Mox, but if I attempt any of the other Bulgers up there it will be after I acquire a passion for them, which will probably never happen for two reasons: (1) I'm getting too old, and (2) I'd need to move up your way to be close enough to work on such a project in the way I'd prefer (on weekends as much as possible), and I'd never be able to make that move even if I desperately wanted to. BTW, Packard has told me personally that he will never complete the 48-state top 100 prominences even though he has only 4 to go (well, 5 since we must count both Three Fingers and Whitehorse). The ones he still needs are those two plus Shuksan, Spickard, and Kintla.

Untitled CommentAh. I was just voting on the page and so didn't click on the photo and read the caption. Lazy. Got my answers, though, didn't I? Thanks.

Untitled CommentGreat mountain lake picture. Was hoping to see Slesse(16 miles distant) from a summit view, but perhaps there is a mountain or two in the way.

Re: The two Bobs? What, no climb of the Moxes while there?
You are one of the Bobs and I think Packard the other. But that was a while ago.
A list a list, always a list.
