Easy spring hike with great BC skiing potential
Good access to Hagar and avoids the Dry Gulch bushwhacking issues in wet seasons.

East Slopes
A great fall ascent with Peakbug. We enjoyed the views of snow covered mountains and a brief encounter with a snowshoe hare. We'll probably return to this area to climb some different peaks.

#46 Mount Trelease
Enjoyed the October snow on this peak. Climbed up the steep east ridge and came back down by treversing to the south. Loved the snowy surrounding peaks with rkymtn.

East Ridge
Beautiful hike, I love the East Route. I made a loop down into Loveland and it was great.
Great views, very windy, plenty of snow. Snowshoes had a blowout on the way down - good excuse for new gear!

Bonus Peak
Decided to add this on to my hike of "Golden Bear Peak" and Hagar Mountain from the west side of the Eisenhower Tunnel. Did an out and back from "Golden Bear Peak". The west ridge was kind of cool - rocky with a lot of exposure on the north side.

I climbed Mount Trelease on a pleasant July day with my dogs Raymond and Sopris. After topping out on Trelease we continued on to Peak 13,010. This was a nice scouting hike for routes on Hagar Mountian and the Citadel. The views are better then what one might expect just off of I-70. The citadel in particular looks exotic. The sunfloweres on the connecting ridge were extravagant.

Started up at 5:15 am. I was sucking air early as I am not accustomed to the altitude. I tried to adjust spending two nights in Denver at 5000 feet and the night before this climb at Loveland Pass as 11,000 feet but I was out of air any time I was ascending. I was fine when I stopped each time so I just kept going with lots of rests. Even with the altitude against me, we managed to do this one in about two hours from the trailhead. Great views and a fun ridge over to Hagar.
