Winter warblers!
No views of Constance or Rainier, but lots of hermit warblers on the north summit! Took my time due to road closure, 8 miles roundtrip on the road, 4 hrs 15 min C2C, leisure pace

Mountaineers Training
Hiked with my Mountaineers SIG group for training & belay/knot practice.
Cold & rainy few hours in the parking lot up top. But the gray jays were around; one even alit on my finger momentarily until it realized I was not giving food.

Father/Daughter
Hiked this with my daughter as we were visiting my parents who live in Sequim. This was my first peak in the Olympic forest. A nice easy hike. Would have been nice to have fewer clouds but still had decent views.

Back up
Was going to do Mount Townsend but the trailhead was snowed in so we settled for Walker.

Foggy Winter Hike
Couldn't see more than 50' from the viewpoint. Camp Robber bird kept us busy though. The trail is in great shape and easy to follow. I will need to return here on a clear day.
It's highly discouraging after a steep hike to get to the summit only to find a parking lot full of cars and tons of people who just drove to the top. I would never hike this trail again. Not that it's a bad trail, but if I were to go to Walker again I'd just drive.
