As Indicatedwe hiked this as part of an ascent of Wheeler. Thanks to Sarah and Ron (who we met on the trail), we all summited Wheeler. Pretty long for a dayhike from the Coyote parking lot. Seeing the bighorn sheep was an added bonus.

Storm Brewing SummitPractically ran from Wheeler to Walter to summit before the approaching storm hit. Snapped a couple of pictures, and then it was down the mountain as fast as I could move!

via WheelerCame up Williams Lake trail. Headed over to Wheeler, then on the way down stopped by. Its a shame this only gets climbed by proxy to Wheeler.

On the way to WheelerHit this one on the way up to Wheeler Peak. There is still quite a bit of snow on the way up the Bull of the Woods trail.

Two-feryep, was on the way to Wheeler...and Walter was there. Most mountaineers started because something "was there." So it's ok that Mt. Walter was there...i enjoyed it as much as Wheeler.

Bull of the WoodsAwesome hike. I kinda like the views from Walter more than Wheeler. But if you're going to go that high, why not go to Wheeler? Pics

En Route To WheelerIt was a beautiful morning on my way to Wheeler Peak. Mt. Walter received a dusting of snow the night before we hiked up. Took Bull Of The Woods route up and down. Spent a night in La Cal Basin.

A Stop on the Way to Wheeler PeakAscended via Bull of the Woods. It rained from the TH to La Cal Basin. It was clear and the summit was windy. I guess I summitted twice, once going and once coming.
