Found a break in the rain at the top to see a clear view of Crawford Notch. Left the summit as the clouds closed in and the day gave in to the storms.

4 peak day
Pleasant little peak - winter wonderland scenes all along the trail, good views at the top. Pretty crowded on a Saturday.

Easy Snowshoe Hike
Gorgeous day, very few people on the trail, awesome views for an easy hike up.
Every winter my partner and I climb most of these routes. One of my favs is up Cinema, bushwack left thru the trees and top out on Cauliflower Gully. Or, bushwack right and climb the second pitch of Hitchcock. Had a nasty screamer on Geat Madness back in 06.
Climbed Hitchcock once to the summit and then rapped back down the Gully. Another time we climbed lower Hitchcock and then climbed the "Cleft" on the right to the top. Never topped out the face via a rock route. I've only gone up to the Tree Ledge on Across the Universe.
7-09 Finally linked Across the Universe into End of the Universe to the top. A very good 8 pitch route with only a half a pitch of loosey goosey at the top. Also linked cinema into Cauliflower last winter for another good linky...

Route Climbed: Gully on East Face
Climbed up a gully on the East face in 5 pitches. My first technical climb of a mountain. Made our way through the woods to the overlook. It was quite stormy and it began to snow just as we started walking down the Mt Willard trail. Great climb!
