Zumwalt
Not a bad hike! Very hot day for us on this summit but loved the view. Unfortunately a little hazy but it cleared enough for us to enjoy it

from Grandjean road.
This is best as a snowshoe or ski trip, IMO. It's hard to target this when there are so many more interesting peaks nearby.

From Grandjean side
Straight up from Grandjean road with no snow shoes until 8000 ft. Saw some type of tower (weather station?). Saw a Golden Eagle and deer. Per "History of the Boise National Forest 1905-1976" it is named after General Zumwalt, as the page says. Zumwalt's grave is near Graham.
