Yep, nice place in the Valin hills. While I wanted to try my luck with a mountain bike there just were too many people on foot to risk such a move...

Regarding the Valin hills; they are situated in the Saguenay Lac St Jean region of the province of Quebec (in Canada). While the Canadian shield isn't reknown as mountainous being the oldest mountain chain on earth there are certain places more specifically in Quebec which have what is remenescent of mountainous scenery, the Valin Mountains being an example.
