Nice Inland Valley peak in Fontana. A real gem in the urban wasteland of the valley. Jurupa is one of the most prominant mountains in the valley with a value of P1167, it is on the Mount San Antonio Cell of the California Mountain Atlas. This peak has seen many wildfires in recent years.

Getting There

Take the 1o freeway to Fontana, taking the Sierra exit and heading south for 1.5 miles. On your right you'll see Jurupa Regional Park. There is playsets and other typical park stuff. Park anywhere.

Route Description

Look for a cell phone tower, it is a fake pine tree near the top of the water slides. Hike up to it and take the large path leading up the north slope. Eventually the trail narrows and courses through the boulders leading up to the summit.
