Overview
This is one of the peaks on the San Diego County (SDC) Sierra Club peak list. It is located in the San Ysidro mountains in northeastern San Diego county. The views from the top of this mountain are beautiful. The entire northeastern portion of San Diego county is visible. This includes much of Anza Borrego, Borrego Springs, The Santa Rosa Mountains, the Salton Sea and much more.Getting There
Directions-Take CA 78 east to Santa Ysabel
-Take CA 79 north to S2
-S2 a few miles to S22
-Stay on S22 until you see the sign for Anza Borrego State park
-Park just past the sign on either side of the road
Red Tape
Private property exists to the west of this mountain. It is marked by a fence which runs along the property. The public land is anywhere east of this land.Camping
Camping is permitted anywhere is Anza Borrego State Park. There are many fine campsites around this areaExternal Links
