Overview
Bald Mountain is a ranked peak with 661 feet of prominence. It sits along the I-25 corridor, between Denver and Colorado Springs, several miles to the east of the main Rampart Range. From many parts of Colorado Springs, Bald Mountain prominently stands out due to its isolation from the main range. The nearest town is Monument, about 4 miles to the south west, which offers a variety of restaurants and shopping. This peak is entirely on privately owned land and is no longer accessible.
