Thanks!! No, the name of the cheese doesn't have anything to do with the name of this mountain, since it's spelled completely differently ..... Rahel
Roquefort and Rochefort have exactly the same meaning, that is "strong rock". Roquefort is a village whose name was given to the local cheese. There are limestone cliffs arround Roquefort.
