I can't wait to see the photos. I know you're work, so I know they will be great. It looks like your stuck home today instead of climbing because of the snowstorm. Anyway, have a good weekend.
Only suggestion I can think of is to integrate a couple of the photos (eg, #119557) into the South Ridge route description where they'd be apposite. On #119561, you might consider adding a mark indicating the best path to the east face (if it matters). (Or, consider marking up a zoomed-in topo.)
Beautiful page. As usual your pictures are real winners. They make mouth and eyes water. Perhaps you could center the large pictures or uncenter their caption. It's looking a little strange now.
Thanks -No writing lessons, but I did take a little more time developing the text of this page. A great mountain deserves more of my time representing it. My next page will be a good one as well-Williams Mountain-Sawatch. I have a couple of photos of it that will surprise you.
Beautiful presentation Kane. The photos you have of South Maroon are astounding. You make me regret my decision to turn around on this mountain back in July. Anyway thank you for sharring. I uploaded a few photos from my time on Belleview Mountains north ridge.
Thanks. Jon, you did the right thing by not continuing. You had some bad luck while hiking the Elks this weird weather spring summer. Its a great mountain and it ain't going anywhere so go check it out some time. That summit, according to the registry only gets between 10-15 visits a year at most. Strange since West Maroon Pass is such a busy place.
Nice page and pictures. I liked the understatement of "a slight reputation for difficult and dangerous climbing." Thanks for posting.
My usual proofreading report:
In the main page:
dedicates its time protecting -> dedicates its time to protecting (or, spends its time protecting)
In the route page:
I would consider it, easy class 3 -> I would consider it easy class 3
This section of ridge is also loaded with rock towers that can be traversed by its easiest route -> This section of ridge is also loaded with rock towers that can be traversed by their easiest routes
Descend you ascent route -> Descend your ascent route
