For about 10 years, I've had a hankering to climb this peak. About two weeks ago, I spent the night nearby at the sand dunes but did not have the vehicle or the gear to get to Boars Tusk and climb it. Maybe next year...
I added this to the Great Divide Basin page, which you probably didn't know existed. I might add a couple pictures as well.

BeautifulAbsolutely stunning feature, incredible prominence. Looks like a fun route.
