Brandon isn't the second highest peak in Ireland. Two in the McGillycuddy's Reeks are higher - Caher and Ben Keeragh. Maybe Brandon is the highest ouside the Reeks. I'm not sure. Hiking it this weekend though - hope the weather holds up!!
