Link

Chris, your cohp link isn't working right and it is the west summit of Cobb Mtn that is the cohp.

Cobb mountain qualifies as a prominence peak

I'll vote on this page when you get it constructed. : )

Re link

Hi Dean,

The link is all jacked up and i can't figure out why. I started this page last night and climbed it today. I know that the west ridge is the cohp but alas we didn't get there. We made the Cobb Mtn summit but one of my partners was not equiped for the 14" of snow on the top. Yes 14 inches less than 40 minutes from the Napa
Valley! So we had to turn back. Thats ok now i can get summer pics as well.
Wait until you see the pictures. Speaking of pictures, how do you
attach pics with the new format?

Hope you are well, I still follow your adventures here on SP. Hope to hike/climb with you again someday.

Re: Re link

Wow Chris, 14 inches of snow in the Napa Valley area. Seems strange. To attach pics, use the "Add Image" section on the left side and choose one of the two choices. The top choice will give you what you want for a new image.

I still need to do Cobb myself, along with Vaca, St. Helena and a few others in your area and I hope to get down there in April or May. I could use a guide. : ) I'd like to get Konocti as well (another prominence peak). It'd be great to do something with you again. Its been too long since Yolo.

Re: Re link

I never would have believed it if i hadn't seen it (the snow) myself. I'll try the add image section, thanks.
I have to go back to Cobb, why not with a friend! I've never been up Konocti before, could be fun.

Re: Re link

Konocti is a privately owned set up and I just got an email from the owner saying they would be out of state until this fall, after which they would resume their tours of Konocti mtn. They have a website.

I hope to be down your way the first week of April, maybe we can hook up for Cobb.
