Interesting summit!

Thanks guys, for adding Dürrenstein, it stands higher and higher on my wishes list.

Perhaps you haven't finished the description yet, but write down just a sentence about the road up on Plätzwiese. Is it opened for public traffic? Should one pay toll? And perhaps a sentence or two about the usual on top - except if you plan the whole route description. You should mention too that Dürrenstein is a tour skiing goal.

Cheers!

Re: Interesting summit!

Hi Vid - actually Goldie_Oz will put up the route - I just helped him put up the page since he doesn't have the time (and since it has been on my list since I created the Prags Dolomites page). As for the road - in 1999 when I was there it was toll-free and even the parking lot at Plätzwiese was free. But that might have changed meanwhile. So my own route description would be a bit outdated

:o(

Hope to see you soon, btw, I'll pm you tomorrow - but you might already think about time and location - since you know the area much better than I do.

Re: Interesting summit!

Ah yes - what I missed to say - it's a bit Peitlerkofel like - huge face on one side - gentle slope on the other.
