Untitled CommentCool pictures including goats. I didn't see any of these on my trip through Idaho, but I did see a whole herd of mountain sheep laying in and around the roadside ditch as I drove down US 93 from Montana to the Idaho pass.

Untitled CommentThanks Desainme...
Its strange, whenever I expect to see goats I dont, and when I'm not looking, they pop up everywhere. This particular family of goats was acting strangely because of the rare high elevation wildfire.
Where on 93 did you see the sheep by the side of the road?

Untitled CommentI was southbound toward Idaho in Ravalli Co. Mont. About 15 miles north of the Lost Trail Pass. Scrubby woodlands and lots of gulches. Less green than the pass itself which was as green as Maine.

Untitled CommentNice page. Again! (Interesting and unusual shot of the fire!)

Untitled CommentThanks Vernon!
It is a highly unusal fire burning right now at those high elevations. It was interesting being at eye level with the helicopters that were dumping water...It sure made for an interesting day.
I have added a route and more photos if you wanna check em out.

Untitled CommentNice page Sean. I can't quite visualize where the fire is/was.
Thanks, Dave

Untitled CommentThanks for your vote Dave...The fire is located at the spot where Wildhorse Canyon splits in two at the base of Howard Peak.

Untitled CommentExcellent page Sean! There might be a bullet point missing before the avalanche center link (behind our friend, the weatherunderground tag).

Untitled CommentI've given up trying to figure it out Gangolf. Something with the tag from the weather link messes with the other HTML. Thanks for the vote!

Untitled CommentNice page!
A would split : "Pioneer Mountains: Central Idaho" or change the name, as the whole page (and the others in the same group) looks a bit weird. Everything is too much to the right because of the too long name in the "related mountains" column.

I would change the name of the group if I could but only the elves can do that.
